Please find for consideration an 1828 Classic Head Half Cent, the 12-Star variety.
Please note the coin may have had an older light cleaning.  Please also note the thin discoloration line on the obverse traveling from the 8 o’clock position to the nose of Liberty.
We have provided a few photos each of obverse/reverse.  Photos #1, 2 and 5 are of the coin flat on a surface and best reflects the tone of the coin when viewing directly, while photos #3, 4, 6 and 7 are of the coin at a slight angle to provide greater detail.
We rarely assign a grade to our coins as the grading criteria can be quite subjective. We have provided a high resolution photo of the obverse and reverse of each coin so that you can thoroughly review and make a grade determination for yourself.
